Do You know what Frankenmuth Means?

If you guessed “Courage of the Franconians,” you are correct!

(“Franken” depicts the province from which German settlers came and “Muth” means courage)

Now, do you know the definition of courage? According to Merriam-Webster, Courage is mental or moral strength to venture, persevere, and withstand danger, fear, or difficulty.

As COVID-19 continues to temporarily impact our everyday lives and routines, Michigan’s Little Bavaria is committed to facing these challenging times with COURAGE.

In order to do that, we need your help!

Muth Serves is a portal that has been created to help face COVID-19 with COURAGE. This portal is designed to help connect needs with resources within the community.

We understand that this is a difficult time for many and we want to help. Whether you need assistance with an errand or a simple well-check call, we are here for you! Head to the Request Help tab to fill out the form and one of our coordinators will pair you with a community volunteer that is ready to help!

If you would like to volunteer to help a neighbor, you’ve also come to the right place. If you have time to give, click on our Volunteer tab to sign up today! One of our coordinators will pair you with volunteer opportunities that are the perfect match for you. If you do not have time to spare, but want to share, head to the Share tab to see how you can give back to those around you.

We believe that if we face these challenges together with COURAGE, we can persevere and withstand any danger, fear, and difficulty that comes our way.
